Panel set up to discuss SC categorization in Telangana

A one-man commission has been set up the Telangana government to study the Supreme Court’s recent judgement in favor of the categorization of the Scheduled Castes and also to suggest measures for effective implementation of the Judgement. Telangana CM Revant Reddy said that the commission is headed by retired High Court judge so as to avoid any legal issue. A review meeting by CM was also held on the implementation of SC categorization and socio-economic survey of backward classes.
