About the Organisation
LawArticle is an online legal platform dedicated to enhancing legal knowledge and providing practical exposure to both students and professionals. It offers internships, research projects, webinars, and competitions, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world legal practice.
The platform also serves as a space for publishing articles, case commentaries, and legal opinions, giving individuals an opportunity to share their views and contribute to meaningful discussions. With the aim of building a strong community of learners, LawArticle encourages research, writing, and professional growth among aspiring legal minds.
About the Event
LawArticle is proud to announce its National Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Age”.
The competition provides a platform for students to express their thoughts, showcase research and writing skills, and explore contemporary challenges in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in today’s tech-driven world.
Eligibility

Open to all undergraduate law students (3-year or 5-year courses) from recognised law schools in India.
Theme
The central theme of the competition is “Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Age.”
Suggested sub-themes include:

Copyright issues in digital content, OTT platforms, and social media

Protecting trademarks and brands in the online space

Patents and new-age technologies like AI, blockchain, and biotechnology

Data privacy, cybersecurity, and their connection with IPR

How IPR encourages innovation and digital entrepreneurship
