A Writ Petition filed by Advocate Jayvardhan Shukla seeking the removal of the song “Bhai Vakeel Hai” from the upcoming movie Jolly LL.B 3 was dismissed by
the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court. The court refused to entertain the petition, citing that the petitioner had not approached any relevant authority with his grievance prior to filing the petition.
Following the court’s decision, Advocate Jayvardhan Shukla stated that he will now submit a representation to the appropriate authority, reiterating his concerns that the song allegedly demeans the legal profession.
