Probe ordered by U.P govt. after 10 babies died in hospital fire

U.P government ordered multi-level investigation into the fire incident at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of the Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College. The probe has been ordered to identify the primary cause of the fire, pinpoint any negligence or lapses and recommend preventive measures. 1O newborns dies in the incident whereas nearly 16 children are still battling for their lives. When the fire broke out (possibly due to electrical short circuit), around 54 children were admitted in the NICU.
