She stressed that the high pendency of court cases poses a significant challenge and called for efforts to change the culture of adjournments. Additionally, she highlighted the responsibility of judges in safeguarding justice and proposed studying the stress levels of individuals in courtroom settings, terming it “Black court syndrome.” The event, attended by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, also celebrated the increased representation of women judicial officers.
