The United States of America (USA) vetoed a UN Security Council Resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. USA Ambassador said to the UN Robert Wood that US could not support an unconditional ceasefire that failed to release the hostages. Further he said that the same had been clear throughout negotiations.
