SC guidelines on complete elimination of child marriages

Recent guidelines of SC aims to eliminate child marriages with emphasis on holding local panchayats, school authorities and child protection officers accountable. It also focused on empowering children about their rights. While enforcing Prohibition of child marriage Act,2006, prevention, protection and prosecution model should be followed, the top court added.
