Jaunpur Court refused to issue order for survey of mosque

A district court in Jaunpur of UP refused to order a survey of mosque in view of the interim order passed by the Apex Court that barred the registration of fresh suits against the Places of worship Act. The order of SC asli barred the trial and high courts to issue any interim or final order pertaining to surveys of any places of worship. The order was issued by the SC as the legal validity of the places of worship Act has been questioned.
