Anti conversion bill to be introduced in next session of Rajasthan State Assembly

BJP govt. decided to introduce a bill in the next session of the State Assembly of Rajasthan to prevent religious conversions carried out by force or fraud. The Bill is introduced to cease growing instances of love jihad in certain areas of Rajasthan. Moreover, the bill will empower the family courts to nullify and declare such marriages as void. The crimes under the law would be non-bailable and cognizable, punishable with imprisonment ranging from 3 years to 10 years.
